Score!

As promised -more Emily cuteness!

You'll get to see several things in this video. First, Emily shaking her rattle on purpose to make noise, rolling over (she got a little head start on me getting her arm under her), the wiggle dance, Emily noises, and toe grabbing.

She's growing so fast. All her sizes are going up. We're in Level2 diapers plus the new wardrobe of 6-9mth-sized clothes; we've even changed out some of her toys. She's got the rainbow stacking rings now. Anyway, on the left there, is my favorite outfit. When I did the swap out, I realized she could now fit in it. So, gleefully, I dress my little girl, hold her up to be admired and tell her how cute she is. Then I set her down to play and think about how much fun it's going to be taking pictures of her in this cute little outfit. The moment I finish that thought and before I can start to think where my camera is...she spits up on it. A lot. (In case you were wondering why there's just a picture of the dress.) Not only that, she spit up in her PlayPlace too. So that's two loads of laundry. In retrospect, it's a funny story I can embarrass her with later. :)

You'd be amazed watching her. She's grabbing things and if they're solid, pulling herself towards them. Unfortunately, this means she's outgrown her portable bassinet. Her movements are making it rock. We're looking for an inexpensive playpen now. Time to hit Craigslist and thriftstores, yay! Also in her new activity agenda, in addition to the grunting on the video, she's starting to make consonant sounds like "mma" and this morning, her first "bah". The next thing I'm hoping to capture for you? The giggle. Unfortunately for me, only Len is the expert at getting it out of her. Her favorite game continues to be "peek-a-boo" with a blanket. Just to make it fun, we also play "parachute" where everyone gets under the blanket. Most often, we all settle down after dinner to watch a new anime on dad's computer. As you can see, Emily likes it too.

  1. Oh...my god. I'm sorry Connor, I'm sorry I have to say this, but that wiggle dance is THE cutest thing I have ever seen. I still think you're adorable baby....just...well you've been out-cuted by Emily. That's just the way it is.

Laura, I've discovered some great thrift stores recently so if you want to check them out with me we can go. I was out all day today thrifting and I think I may have seen one. I don't remember exactly though...I saw a LOT of baby stuff. Got some great finds! If I go out on my own I will keep an eye out for you. I did get a little present for Emily today. She'll hate it! Hehehehe

  2. You know, you have NO contact info on your profile? Are you TRYING to keep me from sending you stuff?! Anyways, you can look up Avalon on craigslist.com of you'd like. Search for either "Avalon" or "medieval," it'll come up under both. The script right now kind of sucks, I won't lie, and my bf and I are thinking we should just find an hour long redux of some sort and put that on instead. Opinions on hour-long reduxes?
