The five month portrait:
As you can see, Emily is starting to get her own looks. She's five months old and she won't stop growing! Ah well, such as it is...the last week has been pretty busy and a lot has been happening. First, she made another milestone; it's the one we've been waiting for. She rolled over but sneaky thing that she is, mommy's never seen it happen let alone get a video for you, but she's doing it! Unfortunately, Emily has had a cold for the past two days, including her birthday. She's coming through like a champ and her fever disappeared by Tuesday evening.
Secondly, we're well underway with teething and I did capture that!
(silent film)
Also, some other things that my mommy books label as significant...
* smiling spontaneously
* squealing and modulating her voice
* passing an object from one hand to the other
* turning at the sound of a voice (particularly mom's or dad's)
...and my favorite...
* reaching for mom or dad
Some things we've done during this busy period is go to the park with E.E. and Connor. Here's a few of my favorite pictures, but of course you can see all my favorites in the snapshots album: Jan-April '09. If you're still itching for more, try this album: Play Date.
