Helping out at CCC

Recently, the church had a Faith in Action campaign. This is when we have our worship service a little differently. We go out into the community on Sunday morning and do service acts in our Lord's name. Our family did several things over the weekend, but Emily had the most fun at the luau at the Star Manor Assisted Living Facility. While mommy and daddy sang, she brought some smiles to the residents' faces. (Oh, if you're wondering what the deal is with Mom's arms...she got into some poison ivy. At this time, it had cleared up, but it still looked pretty nasty, so I put on the bandages for aesthetic purposes.)

Every Thursday (almost) we go to Community Christian Church to have lunch and help out with whatever the office needs. Emily has a good time smiling at the ladies and the guys that come have lunch...and occasionally, she wreaks some havoc. :)
