The Storm

Well, Len and I had intended to get a little cake and ice cream for Emily's 6month day...instead we got a new kind of entertainment...severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings! All electronics off except the local AM radio station, water bottles filled and ready, pillows/blankets in the tub, add mommy and baby with daddy standing watch at the window - instant par-teh! Hehehehe. Seriously, though, I think it'll be something fun to tell her that when she turned 6 months, she went through a serious storm. The tornado sirens went off twice and afterwards, we just all settled into the bed for quiet time. Be sure to check out all the pictures we took on the Picassa album starting here.

Here's something else I keep wanting to share with you guys. Emily's favorite game of Peekaboo where she does the hiding. The funniest thing is that no one has to be around to play it with her. She'll cover and uncover her face and just laugh! Sorry for the darkness.
