Snowy Days

Yeah, I could post highlights from the 200+ photos and videos I've sorted in the last hour, but c'mon...we all wanna see this:

and this:

I'm so proud of my little girl. When asked if she wanted to go outside in the snow, she said "YES!". I said ok and then pronounced we had to wear extra clothes to stay warm. There was absolutely no fuss to stripping down only to put on stockings, extra shirt, sweatshirt, britches, socks, shoes, and coat. And to top it off? She wanted to put mittens on herself. I'll admit I had a little trepidation because she had shown an aversion to the mittens when she received them at Christmas. Oh, she made sure mommy put on her gloves too.

While outside we gathered a little snowball collection for the freezer so Daddy wouldn't miss out either. We built our little snowman. She stuck in his arms, pointed out where the eyes and nose should go, and I thought the safari hat made a nice touch.

She even did a great job of stomping her feet on the mat before going inside.

I'll do a holiday mesh a bit later so stay warm folks!
