Today, Emily went #2 in the potty. (No, it's not in there.) Of course, who knows if this will happen again in the near future, but it must start somewhere! This is her little training station in the downstairs bathroom.We're so proud...I had to make a few victory calls. Len picked up Emily's new training potty today. She was very excited about it. She had seen them at others' homes so she knew what it was. After a few trial runs, we sat on it after dinner and scored! After flushing the results in the big potty, she asked several times "What happened?" I said it went bye-bye. So she waved a little hand at the big potty and said "Bye-bye".
For those of you who know her, I'm sure you can hear that little voice in your head right now. We didn't have a second victory this evening, but Len and I are hopeful that the process will go ahead w/o any major setbacks.
It feels so silly to get so excited about a BM, but hey, they're only young once :)
