Miniature Horses

This past Thursday, we drove out to Euharlee to see a program about miniature horses. While the overall experience was a bit disappointing, Emily kept showing off during the short but sweet presentation. She pointed to the little guy and started to wiggle out of my arms. She let out whinny after whinny until I finally had to walk her around to keep her hushed. Yeah, I thought it was cute, but I doubt the other parents with children did when they saw what Emily was getting to do.

Those two cute girls with Emily and the horse (Buckshot) are the two girls I've been watching. Sadly they only had one horse there so the kids only got 30 sec. to stand beside him for his picture. I completely understand that the horse probably wouldn't have stood for some 50 anxious and loud kids crowding on him, but that's my point...they should've brought two or three....ANYway...

We also took a picnic in the park across the street with the Gardners. That was more fun than the horse! They had a merry go round, swings, slides...just a nice playground. Poor E.G. below had to get a mommy-kiss because he fell on the merry-go-round. (or touched something hot; we weren't sure.)
