The fastest catchup ever

Ok, in order not to go crazy trying to update you on all the things that Emily has done, said, accomplished, made cute, made messy, or just downright did something I HAVE to share...I'm going to attempt to do it all in one and just be done with it. Then regular updates can resume and you guys will never know what you missed! :)

Emily and I went to the park with E.E. and Connor. The pictures start with this one. PLUS the pictures taken from when we went to the fair last week are in there too.

There's LOTS.
But, there's my favorite:

Emily's new favorite game:
Chase (She also likes to play it crawling around.)

Other highlights that Emily can do:
* Walk with some speed
* Point to something she wants to know more about or put in her mouth
* Pull Cat's tail
* Crinkle her nose and be VERY cute like this:

* She has spent the night at GranGran's house without mommy and daddy.
* She's been to the fair.
* She's eating solid table foods like bread rolls, pancakes, chicken bits, and bananas.
* She appeared in the bloopers reel of our theater group's awards show intro movie. It's on YouTube, but please know it's adult humor and probably only really funny to us cause we all know each other.
Emily in the bloopers reel. If you wanna skip to her, jump to approx. 1:50.
Here's the funniest part - we put a wig on her. I think she looks like E.T.

* She has been swimming with mom lots of times, with dad lots of times, even with Connor and E.E. Plus we got her a float with a sunshade. Pic in the May-August slideshow.
* Emily goes to Daycare three days a week (usually). They call her "Elimee". It's very sweet that she walks in and gets greeted by her fan club. This is her first day.

* She's been to several parties for birthday and farewells; She's had more babysitters. She likes eating out because all the noise and ruckus. Actually, she causes most of it because the waitstaff can't leave her alone. Yes, it's because she's cute and eggs them on with giggles, smiles, and peek-a-boo games.

* She likes playing dress up. I LOVE this picture.

* She now has four full teeth with five, six, seven, and eight peeking through the gums. While taking a picture of them, Len was lifting her up to get her to smile and then noticed she had a dirty diaper. So he hands her to me....y'know how a soda can fizzles when you open it after shaking it up? Yeah...

* Emily is now drinking out of sippy cups, but wants her bottle (or anyone else's that she sees). The funny part, sometimes she only wants it if you hold it. It makes her look like a hamster. :)
* Emily can climb upstairs now.
* She has crawled OFF the bed (and given mommy a heartattack).
* She likes the swings most of all at the parks. Be sure to check out her and Connor on the Sept-Dec. slideshow here. OR look at every picture from the PlayDate album listed above.
* We got Emily a new car seat from KidsWoot.com pointed out to us by E.E. who always has eyes open for a deal. (THANKS!) It looks like it was modeled after a Gundam (robot mecha) cockpit.

* Finally, Emily waves. Not always, but sometimes.

Well, I hope you've enjoyed these updates and if you're looking for more about us, I'm on facebook. We're home and hopefully getting back into the swing of things. Emily's first birthday is less than two weeks away and then we're taking a plane trip soon! Won't that be exciting for new parents? :)
